Fugitive Uploads Porn While Hiding in Bali

If you’re uploading your sex tape to the internet, are you really hiding? One fugitive from justice might need to ask himself that question. Marcus Beam, an American accused of investment fraud in the United States, made and sold porn to survive while hiding out in Bali. When arrested, multiple cell phones and 14 sex toys were also seized.

Beam was wanted in connection with an investment scheme that misappropriated $500,000 from potential investors. Instead of investing the money as promised, Beam is accused of pocketing it for himself. He is also accused of “lying about his status as a licensed securities professional, sending falsified account statements, and failing to return funds that clients requested to redeem.”

He was declared a fugitive from justice in February when he failed to show up to court. To get out of the country, he used a passport under another name, Demario Faulkner. He’d been in Bali since January.

Unspecified in the reporting on this case (but definitely a question on our mind): Did his adult uploads contribute to him getting caught?
