British Singer Lily Allen Opens Up About Her Sex Life and Masturbation

Lily Allen, 35, is an English singer and writer, who recently partnered with Womanizer to release a limited edition version of their famous Liberty vibrator. Allen says her first orgasm occurred with a vibrator while on tour and before that, her sexual pleasure was performative (aka faked) rather than genuine.

Allen opened up about her sex life and pleasure while promoting the collaboration saying in the past, sex wasn’t about enjoyment for her. She also says that her song Not Fair is “bullshit” because she complained a man couldn’t get her off, but the real problem was that she couldn’t get herself off.

While Allen is facing backlash for talking so openly about her sex life, orgasms, and masturbation, she has said her partnership with Womanizer was done, in part, to help destigmatize these topics for women. Allen wants us all to talk more openly about sex and pleasure, and for more women to experience it for themselves.

Allen’s husband, Stranger Things star David Habour, was quick to defend her and publicly support her new venture. He even plans to buy her a vibrator, although, hopefully, Womanizer has hooked her up for life with their products.
