Annual Kinky Cruise in Germany Sails Despite COVID-19

The annual “Torture Ship” cruise in Germany set sail this year, despite the pandemic, with eager fetish folks ready to have a good time, though with plenty of safety precautions in place. Normally attended by 600 people, only about 200 kinksters purchased tickets and joined the party cruise, paying €67 per ticket.

Each year, kinksters in all kinds of leather and latex gear come together for an adventure on the “Torture Ship.” They party on the water and tour between Konstanz and Friedrichshafen. Because of COVID-19, this year’s event was more subdued with masks being required (and not just the kinky kind) as well as maintaining social distancing to comply with Germany’s strict requirements during the pandemic.

The ship usually brings out thousands of onlookers to watch fetishists and kinky partiers go by. But this year, piers were closed. The party itself was a bit more subdued. Here’s hoping it can sail in full kinky glory next year.
